Loved it! Dad was super excited to watch it, all he said when I told him what we were watching was “WE SHOT THEM UNDER RULE 303!”… I was like errrrr… ok?
But in all seriousness, it’s a must-see. It’s Australian, a true story and tells of three guys who were used as scapegoats in the Boer War in the 1900’s. It’s funny and light-hearted at times, sad and meaningful in others.
Alf from home and away is in it! That made my day. Also I met Bryan Brown once. Just saying.
And the quotes! Morant has some great lines that we should all live by… this one is my fave:
“Live every day as if it were to be your last; for one day you’re sure to be right.”
And maybe one we don’t need to live by:
“Shoot straight ya bastards, don’t make a mess of it!”
