Too much excitement! Where do I start?? Ok I’ll start with how much my cousin, Mon, loves Batman (or at least I think she does seeing as she has every single DVD) and then that reminds me of how much Bart Simpson loves Batman (or at least I think he does) which leads me to Danny Elfman who wrote the theme song for The Simpsons and is best friends with Tim Burton who directed Batman which Elfman scored!
AND… the tools that were used to ‘reconstruct’ the Jokers face are the same tools used in Little Shop Of Horrors which is the next movie on the list!
Anyway, another piece of useless information before I get on with the actual Batman stuff. Before we hit play I made a confession to my dad. As a kid I was always confused by the Batman logo (the one above ^) because at first glance I could never see the bat, I always seen the yellow part first. You know how your eyes sometimes do that weird thing? Well, I didn’t even have to finish my sentence because Dad has always had the same problem!
Lets get on with it. Jack Nicholson steals the show, in my eyes. Although now, 25 years later, he can not be compared with Heath Ledger, but I dare so nobody ever will.
I don’t really know what else to say, it’s the first movie of the whole entire Batman series, it’s the first ever amazing superhero movie (well as far as I know) and if you are a superhero movie lover then you’ve probably already seen it! Great movie for the collection 🙂
