Ahhh daydreaming… who doesn’t drift off every now and then? The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is about just that… and it’s fantastic. Seriously! I can’t wait to see what they’ve done with the 2014 remake. I imagine it will be magically funny!
For a movie made in 1947 (sorry, but older movies generally aren’t that funny), it’s very entertaining and amusing. There was more than one occasion when I found myself AND dad laughing.
Action, comedy, drama, maybe a tad bit of singing, damsels in distress, bad guys with knives and a happy ending… what more could you want?
